Infection occurs due to swallowing food or drink contaminated with salmonella germs (Ministry of Health of the Republic of Indonesia, 2006). Prevention of typhoid fever can be accomplished by maintaining personal and environmental hygiene, including through vaccination, washing hands with water and soap, especially when preparing food or after going to the toilet. The aim of this community service is to increase knowledge about the causes and consequences of typhoid fever transmission and the importance of clean life behavior. The target for this activity is the community of Cempaka Village RT 23 Banjarbaru, totaling 50 people. Based on the results of IgG and IgM examinations, it was found that 3 people (6%) were positive and 47 people (94%) were negative. The level of public knowledge regarding typhoid fever after the education was carried out increased from the pretest results to good knowledge level of 6 people (12%) after posttest good knowledge level of 29 people (58%), pretest results low level of knowledge 27 people (54%) after posttest knowledge level low 60 people (12%). It is recommended for the community who got positive typhoid fever IgG and IgM examination results to complete treatment to prevent community to become a carrier. Monitoring of people's healthy and clean life behavior in terms of preventing transmission must continue to be carried out by the relevant agencies in order to prevent the impact of wider transmission on the surrounding environment.
2024-05-02T00:00:00+07:00Copyright (c) 2024 Jurnal Rakat Sehat : Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakathttp://jrsabdimas-poltekkesbjm.com/index.php/JRS/article/view/60Nugget Ikan Dan Dimsum Ikan Sayur Mengatasi Stunting Dan Wasting2024-03-30T14:14:52+07:00Zulfiana Dewideekamarullah@gmail.comSajimansajimanadjie@gmail.comErmina Syainahermina.saner@gmail.comSiti Mas'odahandriwife@gmail.comMagdalenalenarere@yahoo.co.idMailla Dwi Andresmeilladwi74@gmail.comRusmini Yantirusminiyanti1502@Gmail.comRahmanirahamani1978.ar@gmail.comNiken Widyastuti Hariatiniken.widyastuti.hariati@gmail.comHerizka Risty Emeliaherizkaryeme@gmail.comFathurrahmanfathurrahman@gmail.comNurun Nisannisa2352@gmail.com
Stunting, often called stunting, is a condition of failure to grow in children under five years old (toddlers) due to chronic malnutrition and recurrent infections, especially during the First 1,000 Days of Life (HPK), namely from the fetus to a 2-year-old child. Other studies show that the problem of stunting in Indonesia is related to food consumption, namely the low consumption of food sources of animal protein that are consumed daily. Data from the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) shows that consumption of animal protein per day in Indonesia is 20.30 grams, lower than other ASEAN countries such as Malaysia, Brunei, the Philippines, and Thailand. This community service activity takes the form of education about animal protein to prevent stunting and a cooking demonstration on fish nuggets and vegetable fish dim sum. Every year these two villages are often affected by quite severe flooding, the river water looks very murky and brown. River water can no longer be consumed as before and the community's life is still classified as lower middle class, as informed by the village head. They hope that there will be support from the government or other parties who can help overcome clean water problems, especially during floods which actually cause a clean water crisis.

The aim of this community service activity is that community groups are able to process clean water that meets health requirements. The solution offered is to train cadres of working groups that have been formed and apply the results of research on processing river water into clean water. The target indicator for the achievement of community service activities is the formation of a water processing working group in village communities that is skilled and efficient (able to process clean water and prepare the equipment). Apart from that, it is hoped that it will act as a trigger for the academic community to continue to take action in order to improve the level of public health, especially on river banks.

Water processing group cadres are expected to always practice their abilities in water processing using DSRF-USRF reactors for daily water supply that meets health requirements. Apart from that, it is hoped that it can share information with local residents who are experiencing difficulties in providing clean water.
2024-04-11T00:00:00+07:00Copyright (c) 2024 Jurnal Rakat Sehat : Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakathttp://jrsabdimas-poltekkesbjm.com/index.php/JRS/article/view/61Pendidikan Kesehatan Tentang Pentingnya Pemeriksaan Kehamilan Sesuai Standar Selama Kehamian Untuk Optimalisasi 1000 Hari Kehidupan2024-04-05T14:14:48+07:00rafidahrafidahendro@gmail.comHapisahhapisah@gmail.comRusmilawatyrumilawaty@gmail.comNoor Adha AprileaAdhaAprilea@gmail.comMellisaMellisa@gmail.comUlfa LatifahUlfaLatifah@gmail.comNoor ZannahNoorZannah@gmail.com
Background: Reducing maternal mortality rate (MMR) and infant mortality rate (IMR) is a major challenge in maternal and perinatal health care. Untreated caries can affect weight, growth, quality of life and impact the health of permanent teeth. External factors that influence the occurrence of dental caries are the level of knowledge, attitudes and behavior of children in oral health. By empowering children's independent ability to obtain their oral health status, it is hoped that the Caries Free Program can be realized. The expected form of independence is that school children are able to gain knowledge, attitudes and positive behaviors independently. This can be realized if there is an active change of agent in their peer environment. The formation of the Little Doctor Team in this school environment is expected to make them a Promoter of Dental & Oral Health in their peer environment. The purpose of the Community Service is to form a Little Doctor Team in Elementary School, equip them with knowledge about how to brush their teeth properly, as well as the introduction of Basic Dental & Oral Health Tools at SD Islam Al Madani Banjarbaru.
